Innerloop ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when using Innerloop:

Account Information: Email address (for account access), name (optional)
User Content: Habits, goals, journal entries, and daily check-ins you create
Usage Data: App interactions, mood tracking data, and progress analytics
Group Content: Messages, activity updates, pacts, and other content you share within groups
Media Content: Photos and videos you upload as proof of habit completion or pact fulfillment

How We Use Your Information

Provide and improve the Innerloop service
Sync your data across devices
Send notifications and reminders you've enabled
Generate AI-powered insights and coaching
Analyze app usage to improve features
Facilitate group features, including sharing activity with group members
Enable pact and accountability features within groups

Groups and Social Features

When you join or create a group, certain information becomes visible to other group members:

Profile Information: Your name and profile picture are visible to group members
Activity Feed: Your habit completions, streaks, and progress may be shared with your group
Pacts: Pacts you create or join, including consequences, are visible to group members
Media Uploads: Photos or videos you upload as proof are visible to group members
Messages: Messages you send in group chats are visible to all group members

You control which groups you join and can leave any group at any time. Leaving a group removes your access to group content but does not delete content you previously shared.

Media Content (Photos & Videos)

When you upload photos or videos:

Media is stored securely on our servers
Media shared in groups is visible to all members of that group
We do not use your media for advertising or share it outside the app
You can delete your uploaded media at any time
Deleting your account permanently removes all your uploaded media

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud database provider. We use industry-standard encryption to protect your information in transit and at rest. Media files are stored in secure cloud storage with access controls.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with:

Third-party services necessary to provide app functionality (cloud storage, authentication)
Other users within groups you voluntarily join (as described in "Groups and Social Features")
Law enforcement if required by law

Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal data
Delete your account and all associated data
Export your data
Opt out of notifications

Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile tab in the app. This will permanently remove all your data from our servers.

Children's Privacy

Innerloop is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
