Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Innerloop, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

Description of Service

Innerloop is a personal development app that helps you track habits, set goals, journal, receive AI-powered coaching, and connect with others through accountability groups. The service is provided "as is" and may be updated or modified at any time.

User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to update your information as needed.

User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in Innerloop (habits, goals, journal entries, photos, videos, etc.). By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content to provide the service. For content shared in groups, you grant other group members a license to view that content.

Groups and Social Features

Innerloop allows you to create and join groups for accountability purposes. When participating in groups:

You are responsible for your interactions with other group members
Content you share in groups (messages, photos, videos, activity) is visible to all group members
Group owners and admins may remove members or content at their discretion
We are not responsible for the actions or content of other group members
You may leave any group at any time

Pacts and Consequences

Groups may create "pacts" - voluntary commitments with user-defined consequences. By participating in pacts:

Voluntary Participation: All pacts are entirely voluntary. You choose whether to join a pact and agree to its terms
User-Defined Consequences: Consequences for breaking pacts are created by users, not by Innerloop. Examples include doing pushups, buying coffee for the group, or other activities
No Enforcement: Innerloop does not enforce pact consequences. Completion of consequences is based on the honor system and group accountability
Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring any consequences you agree to are safe, legal, and appropriate for you
No Liability: Innerloop is not liable for any consequences, injuries, or damages arising from pact participation or consequence fulfillment

Important: Do not create or agree to pacts with consequences that could cause physical harm, financial hardship, legal issues, or violate any laws. Use common sense and only agree to consequences you are comfortable with.

Photo and Video Uploads

You may upload photos and videos as proof of habit completion or pact fulfillment. By uploading media:

You confirm you have the right to share the content
You agree not to upload illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
You understand media shared in groups is visible to all group members
You grant Innerloop a license to store and display your media within the app
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms

AI Coach Disclaimer

The AI coach feature provides general guidance and suggestions only. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, therapeutic, or financial advice. For emergencies or serious concerns, please contact appropriate professional services.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the app for any illegal purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Interfere with or disrupt the service
Share your account with others
Harass, bully, or threaten other users
Upload illegal, harmful, obscene, or inappropriate content
Create pacts with dangerous, illegal, or harmful consequences
Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
Use the app if you are under 13 years of age

Subscriptions & Payments

Innerloop offers the following auto-renewable subscription options:

Monthly Premium: $3.99/month - Billed monthly
Annual Premium: $29.99/year - Billed annually (equivalent to $2.50/month)

Subscription details:

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store after purchase
Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
